Doctor Strange To Be Scored By ‘Jurassic World’ Composer Michael Giacchino

Doctor Strange has found its composer in Michael Giacchino, the man behind the score of hit TV series, Lost.

Giacchino made the announcement on Thursday that he will be joining the Marvel Universe with the Benedict Cumberbatch starring film. He took to Twitter to make the official declaration.

Take a look:

An Oscar- and Grammy-winning composer, Giacchino is one of Hollywood's most accomplished young composers. His impressive film repertoire include scores for action blockbusters Jurassic World and Mission: Impossible III, as well as Pixar's animated hits The Incredibles, Up, and Inside Out. Another one of his most notable works is the cryptic soundtrack for J.J. Abrams' Lost.

I can only imagine a climactic score for the amazing psychedelic scenes in Marvel's Doctor Strange. Despite all the backlash that the film has faced in recent weeks, this makes me psyched to see the film.

With a horror director like Scott Derrickson (Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose) and Lost composer like Giacchino, I'm expecting Doctor Strange to have a pretty haunting tone to it.

Doctor Strange hits theaters on November 4.
