Doctor Strange and Iron Man Will Butt Heads During Avengers: Infinity War

During the promotion of Avengers: Infinity War, we saw Doctor Strange and Iron Man interact a number of times, making fans of the Awesome Facial Hair Bros giddy. The two have had a decent enough relationship in the comic but this will be the first time we'll see the characters interact in the movies. So like a classic issue of Marvel Team-Up, we should expect some bickering.

Strange's actor, Benedict Cumberbatch, has recently spoken with Entertainment Weekly and has confirmed that the two will butt heads, though not to the point of derailing their plans to save the world. They are both big personalities, after all, so seeing these two egos bicker with each other should be fun before The Black Order gets their hands on them.

Here's what Cumberbatch had to say about the two heroes and their relationship:

"There's a lot of interesting dynamic. They don't always attract. So, sparks will hopefully fly, but at the same time, they're united by a purpose that's bigger than either of them, so they get their game on, put it that way. But, yeah, there are a few one-liners along the way."

If the two heroes survive Infinity War, future interactions could be more fun or filled to the brim with friction. Fans have enjoyed their banter in the comics and one can only imagine the kind of chemistry Cumberbatch and Robert Downey Jr. have.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27.
