Disney Gives Fans Their First Look At The Live-Action Kim Possible

It was a pleasant surprise when Disney announced that it was working on a live-action movie of Kim Possible. The action comedy-adventure cartoon series created by Boby Schooley and Mark McCorkle ran for five years on the Disney Channel, winning over a lot of fans and critics during its run from 2002 to 2007.

Now, it looks like Disney's got our very first look at Sadie Stanley's live-action version of Kim Possible herself. According to ComicBook.com, Disney has just dropped the very first image of Stanley as everyone's favorite cheerleader by day and crime fighter by night. Check the actress out down below:

Though the actress doesn't have the same floppy cargo pants that Kim has in the cartoon series, Stanley does look pretty cute. Sure fans might have wanted someone with a much...fiercer face, but they have to remember that Kim is still pretty much in high school, so Stanley checks out pretty well.

For those who aren't that familiar with the original cartoon series, Kim Possible focuses on the adventures of Kim, a confident, adventurous and popular high school who also fights crime at night together with her sidekick and best friend, Ronald "Ron" Stoppable.

The Kim Possible live-action movie is set to air sometime in 2019.
