Ever wanted to experience living in the galaxy far, far away? Disney is planning to make your dreams come true as the company has just started working on plans to create a full "Starship" luxury resort and experience, where Star Wars fans can live out their awesome fantasies.
The Walt Disney World News Report Today revealed concept art and details about the resort experience, and according to the site, Disney is surveying fans about what they'd like included in this Star Wars-themed experience. The site reports that Disney is planning to create a resort based on the Star Wars universe, so fans can experience what it's like to be residing in a Starship.
The concept art shows amazing visuals of bedrooms overlooking what appears to be the galactic cities of Coruscant. The experience would also include rooms designed to replicate the ship's control room, and restaurants inspired by grand halls.
The 2-night immersive resort experience would include the following:
The opportunity to experience a 2-day story set in the the Star Wars universe
Be surrounded in a continuous, story-driven entertainment experience as it unfolds over the course of the 2-night stay
Have personal interactions with Star Wars characters, live performers throughout the starship (experience the story or simply observe the action according to personal preference)
Engage in the story with programs such as flight training, ship exploration, lightsaber training, and personalized secret missions (both on the starship and throughout the Star Wars themed planet)
The resort experience is rumored to cost about $900 to $1000 per guest.
With Star Wars Land opening in 2019, this is a perfect addition for fans who can't get enough of Star Wars.
