Disney CEO Bob Iger Has Already Seen Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s Early Cut

While Star Wars fans still have a long way to go till they get to feast their eyes on the next Star Wars saga film installment, Star Wars : The Last Jedi, Disney CEO Bob Iger has already gotten to see an early cut of The Force Awakens sequel.

According to a press release by Seeking Alpha, Iger revealed in a Disney Earnics call this week how he had already seen Star Wars: The Last Jedi and how sure he is that it's going to be a great follow-up to The Force Awakens.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi, otherwise known as Episode VIII, will open in December and I just saw it last week," Iger openly revealed during the earnings report. "It's a great next chapter in the iconic Skywalker family saga."

Though the Disney Head's comments don't reveal much about The Last Jedi's story, this little bit of news is exciting since the movie is moving closer to completion. The revelation that the early cut for The Last Jedi has already been screened for the studio's execs and the fact that Iger is happy with it is pretty encouraging news for Star Wars fans.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi makes its cinematic debut on December 15 this year.
