The seventh season of Game of Thrones is one of the most highly-anticipated series this year, and although we still got a few months before HBO premieres the new season, there's already been a number of leaks, rumors, and speculations regarding the adaptation of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. Some fans have been trying to bite on every detail from the few people who know how the epic will turn out.
One of those few people is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who's known for playing the incestous one-handed knight Jaime Lannister. Although the cast members are sworn to secrecy about the story of the show, sometimes little details slip out of their tongue in interviews, and that's what happened to Nikolaj in a recent interview with The Daily Beast for his latest film Small Crimes.
SPOILER ALERT: possible spoilers from Game of Thrones Season 7 ahead.
Talking about his on-screen sister Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Nikolaj said: "[Jaime] knows about people's weaknesses and loving someone unconditionally – because he loves his sister unconditionally. Plus, there are no other suitors. Well, that's not true… Wow, I was about to reveal something from Season 7 and thought, ‘What am I doing?'"
Although he almost spilled some juicy info about Season 7, Nikolaj revealed more than he liked about his on-screen lover and sister's love life. It's likely that Cersei's new suitor could be Euron Greyjoy, who might make an alliance with her following his niece and nephew's rebellion against him.
Who do you think will be Cersei's new lover?
Game of Thrones Season 7 will premiere this June on HBO.
