Though Lucasfilm isn't giving in to fan's pleas about having the first Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer dropping in on the world before the 2017 Star Wars Celebration, a rumored leak reveals a few details about the highly anticipated promotional vid.
According to a post by Star Wars YouTube user Mike Zeroh, a deleted thread on 4cahn revealed a Star Wars: The Last Jedi leak. The thread confirmed that a special teaser for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens sequel would be debuting at this years Star Wars Celebration. A public one would also be released, however it seems like it would have less reveals compared to the special teaser.
"The main teaser…does not include Luke Skywalker and has far less money shots. The private teaser to be revealed to Celebration's attendees will get three great money shots of Luke Skywalker," Zeroh relayed, "One of which is him walking down the stone steps with Rey to some sort of tree. "Another [scene] of Luke looking face to face, up close and personal.
"The final is where this gets tricky: It is Luke on top of some sort of rock. I do not know why but there seems to be something special happening here."
The YouTuber later on mentions how a tree was spotted in The Last Jedi set photos leaked last year. Could this mean that the "Force Tree" origin theory of Rey could be right all along? It may be possible, however without any confirmation from Lucasfilm or from The Last Jedi's director, Rian Johnson, it's also very, very likely that none of these leaks could be true. We'll have to wait for the Star Wars Celebration to actually confirm these rumors.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres on the big screen on Dec. 15 this year.
