Details of Forest Whitaker’s Costume in Rogue One Reportedly Revealed

Warning: Possible spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk.

We're getting closer to the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but we still haven't seen any trailer for the film up to this day. There have been rumors that the first trailer could debut during the release of Captain America: Civil War in May, but while we're still waiting for that, there's a new bit of information about one of the characters in Rogue One.

According to Making Star Wars, an insider told them about Forest Whitaker's new costume for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The details from the source are as follows:

> The costume is a "Power Suit."
> The suit is green.
> The suit's size is "lumbering" and has a sense of Buzz Lightyear.
> The suit/costume comes with a cape, which looks the same as Boba Fett's.

The site adds that Whitaker's costume had some "leg issues," although obviously there's no way of confirming that right now. Meanwhile, it's also believed that the 54-year-old actor's character is codenamed "Eel Leader," leading us to believe he's some sort of bounty hunter since other groups are reportedly called "Seals" and "Sharks." This then shows ties to the source's claims of Whitaker's costume having a cape resembling Boba Fett's.

Ultimately, take this report with that proverbial grain of salt until a Rogue One trailer comes out. Hopefully, that will be sooner rather than later. We've been waiting too long for it.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16.
