Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 17 Recap

Tanjiro survives falling off the roof but becomes unconscious. After a while, he wakes up to see the area disintegrating into flames and Gyutaro in front of him. The demon doesn't finish Tanjiro off immediately. He even gets into a conversation with him about being an older brother and a weak human who can't even protect his little demon sister.
Tanjiro eventually runs off and finds an opening to attack Gyutaro again. He headbutts him and stabs him with a kunai at the same time. Gyutaro failed to notice that Tanjiro was hiding the kunai, and he's unable to move momentarily.
With Gyutaro frozen in place, Tanjiro attempts to behead him. While this is happening, Zenitsu manages to escape from under the rubble and rushes in to behead Daki at the same time. The two of them almost made it, but it wasn't enough.

Gyutaro finally removes the kunai from his leg and recovers from the poison. As he is about to attack Tanjiro, Tengen appears and blocks him. Gyutaro and Tengen exchange a series of attacks, with Tanjiro keeping an eye on the side, ready to strike again.
As for Zenitsu and Daki, Inosuke joins their fight yet again, surprising Daki since she thought he was dead. Inosuke says he can easily move around his internal organs. After the Demon Slayers launch an attack with all that they've got, they successfully decapitate Gyutaro and Daki simultaneously.
However, the fight isn't over. While Tanjiro struggles to breathe, he can barely hear Tengen telling him to run away. Suddenly, Gyutaro launches a large-scale attack of his Rotating Circular Slashes.
