Deadpool 2's Latest Marketing Gimmick is Coloring Book Pages

The marketing campaign for the first Deadpool film and its upcoming sequel have entertained its fans thanks to their gimmicky Deadpool-style presentation. From Bob Ross Tributes to Thanksgiving promotions and Betty White review, they've done some bizarre things to promote the Merc With A Mouth's films, and the latest one is offering downloadable coloring pages to print and decorate for fun.

You can get the coloring pages at deadpoolcore.com/dpiy (Deadpool It Yourself). You can even upload your submissions, and who knows? Maybe they'll use it for their next Deadpool 2 ad or feature it in the end credits of the film. The coloring art features Deadpool riding a scooter.

Synopsis:

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry's hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World's Best Lover.

Deadpool 2 also stars Jack Kesy as the film's primary villain, along with Julian Dennison, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Stefan Kapicic as the voice of Colossus, Shioli Kutsuna, Terry Crews, and Bill Skarsgard.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 18.
