Director David Leitch has taken the Deadpool franchise under his helm, and the upcoming movie will be introducing us to classic comic mutants like Domino and Cable. This will be the first time we ever see these mutants onscreen, and Leitch talks about the challenges they had to overcome to bring the characters onscreen in an interesting way.

In an interview with ScreenRant, Leitch talks about Domino and how her powers of "Luck" were tricky to put into film. He says:

"We're excited to play with that idea in choreography. I'm not going to give you how it's all going to play out. As a choreographer, having a character with her abilities is really a trick. I think at first it seems like a problem. Like oh my god, how do you demonstrate luck? And then you just see it like, oh, this is the coolest opportunity ever, so we're really excited and we're creating really great stuff for her character."

With Cable's complicated origin, Leitch also said that there'll be some certain changes made with his character. He does go on to say:

"We've been really particular what we're going to put in and what we're going to leave for potential future if it goes that way… all in the spirit of canon."

I think Leitch is an amazing action director, and with the same comedic talent behind the sequel, I'm sure Deadpool 2 is going to make a lot of fans happy. Not that I didn't like the first movie, but it kind of had too much of a CGI Deadpool jumping around doing fight scenes. Tim Miller was still pretty great, but I'm looking forward to what Leitch has to bring to the table.

Deadpool 2 is currently shooting, and the movie is expected to come out June 1, 2018.
