Fox Studios reportedly test-screened Deadpool 2, and the audience didn't respond well to the highly-anticipated sequel.
According to blogger Jeremy Conrad, an audience member shared the information with him and he shared it on Twitter. Fox even demanded Jeremy take down the said Twitter posts.
"Fox screened Deadpool 2 tonight (not Dark Phoenix again) and...yikes! First reaction wasn't what I expected to hear," Conrad tweeted (it seems the tweet has been taken down already).
Conrad went on to share what he heard about Deadpool 2.
"About a half hour longer than the first movie. No plot for a good chunk of it. Vanessa is wasted. Credit scenes are the best part of the whole thing," he added.
When another Twitter user asked Conrad: "But how can they have Cable and Domino but no plot?", he responded with an animated GIF of Deadpool from IGN, a site he used to work for.
When another Twitter user commented, "Oh! I thought they had so much faith in it!", Conrad replied, "They don't test two months from release if they did."
Conrad claimed that he didn't attend the test-screening and that he received the information from an anonymous source.
Since the first Deadpool film was a huge success, fans have high hopes for the sequel, but if Conrad's reports are true, then fans will surely get disappointed. It's too early to tell. We'll just have to wait and see.
Deadpool 2 is set to release in theaters on May 18, 2018.
