Deadpool 2 & X-Men Fans Should Mark 2018 Calendars

This year may have brought some cool Marvel movies to the forefront (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, anyone?) and others still expected to bring great laughs and heroics in our system (Spider-Man: Homecoming and the intriguing Thor: Ragnarok).

Next year, apart from the big blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War, now fans can also look forward to two more Marvel movies with release dates just recently announced by FOX. According to Collider, Deadpool 2 is ready to come at you with insane humor on June 1. This sequel is expected to bring Cable and Domino for the ride alongside the Merc with the Mouth.

Later next year, the newest movie featuring our favorite mutants, X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be ready some months after on Nov. 2. Since the movie premieres in theaters a little later than Deadpool 2, we're hoping that we can get some more details leading to the release date.

This will actually be the second movie to feature mutants. This will be under the direction of Josh Boone. Not a lot is known about this project, except that it has been in production since 2015, with the likes of Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams, and The Fault in Our Stars' Nat Wolff tagged for possible roles. This movie will come in earlier on April 13, which pretty much opens us up into the world of Marvel movies still outside the MCU Grand Plan.

We'll be monitoring updates for these movies as they arrive.
