DC’s Animated Batman and Harley Quinn Moves Forward

The animated universe of DC is hitting its targets pretty efficiently. It has already seen two out of its planned three animated films set to come this year.

Following fast in the footsteps of Justice League Dark and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, the next one that's expected to debut on home video is Batman and Harley Quinn.

The last movie has finally announced its director and producers, as per Collider. Warner Bros. has confirmed that Sam Liu will take the helm as director. The name may be familiar for anyone who had seen his previous DC animated films, namely Batman: The Killing Joke, Justice League vs Teen Titan, and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.

Also part of the project is Bruce Timm, who will be onboard as executive producer and writer of the animated film. Sam Register will also be involved in Batman and Harley Quinn as executive producer, while Wes Gleason will take on the role of casting director.

Kevin Conroy will reprise his role as Batman, while Melissa Raunch joins in for the voice of Harley Quinn. Other voice actors cast include Loren Lester, Paget Brewster, John DiMaggio, Eric Bauza, Robin Atkin, Mindy Sterling, Rob Paulsen, and Trevor Devall.

Batman and Harley Quinn will be released this summer.
