DCEU: Randall Park Added to Aquaman Reshoots as Dr. Shin

We haven't been hearing much for DCEU's Aquaman but we do know that the film is coming out later this December. As of now, the movie is undergoing some pick-ups, and director James Wan has shared that Randall Park has joined the cast.

Here's his post:

As for the part of Dr. Shin, he's actually a character in the comics who helped mentor Aquaman to further understand his powers. At best I think Park will just be in a small role, like a scientist who does some exposition for Arthur Curry.

Park is a series regular on ABC's Fresh Off the Boat, but a lot of fans will notice him for his multiple movie roles, usually portraying some kind of silly nerd or sarcastic supporting character. Park also played the fictional Kim Jong-Un in James Franco and Seth Rogen's The Interview.

It's also worth noting that Park has also been cast in rival franchise the MCU's Ant-Man and the Wasp where he'll be playing a character named Jimmy Woo. Since the character is an FBI agent in the comics, we should expect him to have the same recurring role as Martin Freeman does from Civil War.

We haven't been getting any trailers or teasers for Aquaman yet, and James Wan has confirmed that he's holding back on previews until the CGI is perfected. Hopefully we'll get our first preview sometime soon with the upcoming CinemaCon.

Catch Aquaman when the movie releases Dec. 21.
