I think we can all agree that the DC Extended Universe has been struggling for years now to keep the fans on board. Many believe that the reason why the DCEU has not been able to match or even replicate what the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been doing is because of the questionable creative decisions from the powers that be.

All of the uncertainty surrounding the DCEU led to Ben Affleck's controversial Batman exit. Meanwhile, Henry Cavill's return as Superman is also shrouded by mystery as WB and DC Films seemingly have no plans to bring him back.

As it stands, the only member of the DCEU trinity who is still tied to the franchise is Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot.

Now, in a stunning turn of events, it looks like DC still acknowledges the existence of their live-action universe's trinity of superheroes. On their official Facebook page, the comic book giant brought back the banner featuring Affleck, Cavill, and Gadot and it's causing quite the intrigue online. What could this mean? Naturally, it had a lot of fans thinking that something SnyderVerse-related is coming but no official announcement on DC and WB's part has been made. Interestingly, the new CEO of the groundbreaking Warner Bros. and Discovery merger is reportedly set to be making drastic changes to the DCEU that will bring the attention back to the franchise.

Meanwhile, the DCEU's next film Shazam! Fury of the Gods will hit cinemas in December.
