DC Collectibles Teases Wonder Woman Toys at NYCC 2016

DC Collectibles has unveiled the newest figure at New York Comic Con 2016. And that's Wonder Woman, the Amazon warrior.

There are three figures available, each of which are patterned after Gal Gadot in time for the Wonder Woman movie set for next year. Over at the official DC Collectibles Facebook page, the first images of the collectibles have first been unveiled.

Seen below, the first figure shows Wonder Woman on a horse, as depicted in one of the scenes from earlier trailers. You can see the detail in the figure down to her wind-swept hair, the horse's figure, and even the dust from the horse's tracks.

Next up is Wonder Woman in her golden training suit. She has her braided hair Lara Croft-style, ready to wield the Lasso of Truth. Personally, the figure's face bears the most resemblance to Gadot on this one, right down to her toned arms. It's a shame that she's not in her trademark Wonder Woman costume here.

Finally, the last statue features her and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) about to battle it out with enemies. Steve wields a gun while Wonder Woman has all of her usual weapons out. The Lasso off Truth is on her hip, her sword and shield out for battle.

Each statue features a stand decked with a wonder woman design. Only the training version of Wonder Woman has the iconic W as a stand. The first statue costs $350, the second one for $150, and the third for $275.

Those who are interested in the new toy for Wonder Woman will be available on May 2017. The company has yet to announced when the new figure will be up for preorder.

This is a great collection that any Wonder Woman fan can have. The expected release date is perfect, as it's just roughly a month before the Wonder Woman movie hits theaters on June 2, 2017.
