Ezra and the rest of the Ghost team have had quite a lot of adventures in Star Wars Rebels, and now that the popular animated Star Wars series is on its fourth and final season on Disney XD, series creator and executive producer Dave Filoni tries to look back at his favorite moments from the show.

Sitting down in an interview with Comic Book, Filoni decided to open up talk about the moments that he's most proud of, ones that took place during Rebel's season 2 finale.

"I think that the Malachor episodes where Ahsoka confronts Vader was a big moment for me as a storyteller, because it was something I thought about for a long time and theorizing how it's going to go is one thing; actually having to make it concrete and put it on film is another, because that's how it is," Filoni shared.

Though Ahsoka never really appeared in any of the Star Wars movies, Anakin Skywalker's former Togrutan padawan easily became a fan-favorite in Star Wars Rebels, another Star Wars animated series that Filoni had worked on before Rebels.

Now, with the Rebels coming to an end on Disney XD, fans can't help but wonder whether they'll be able to see Ahsoka again, or whether the Rebel agent's fate will continue to be left up in the air.

New episodes of Star Wars Rebels fourth season premieres every Monday at 9:00 PM ET on Disney XD.
