Darth Vader's Scenes in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Described As Brutal

Following the rumor of Darth Vader's rumored appearance in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and some character details revealed from Gareth Edwards' standalone film, insiders from Making Star Wars shared some interesting details about Darth Vader's scenes in the movie.

The site reports that a stunt suit for the iconic villain has been made, and that Vader's action scenes will be brutal, describing the work that pitch the different ways Darth Vader could kill rebels on a battlefield with the Force and his lightsaber. The pitches revealed people being dismembered by Vader, decapitated rebels, levitating bodies to create humans shields, and more. They described the concept art as "more violent than what we've seen Darth Vader do on screen before." Although they didn't have any details about the action scenes Vader is involved in, it sounds like Vader will have some exciting scenes in the film. If this rumor ends up being true, there's a good chance that the standalone film could get a Rated-R rating, but I highly doubt they'd show something violent enough to get that rating.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released in theaters on Dec. 16. You can check out the photos revealing the costumes of Rogue One here.
