Darth Vader Gets Epic Rogue One Featurette

Rogue One is getting a Digital HD release in a couple of days and Lucasfilm has been busy promoting the film with interviews from director Gareth Edwards and alternate ending reveals from screenwriter Gary Whitta.

Now the studio offers fans a new Rogue One featurette centered on one of the film's best elements – the appearance and end-scene of Darth Vader. Running for a minute and a half, the featurete offers a few behind-the-scenes clips with Vader and interviews with the film's cast and crew.

"As soon as you put him in a scene, that's all you'll want to see. It's really hard to come back from that," Edwards says in the video. "You have to be really careful how you use him, because if you bring him in too early in the film, you sort of just want Vader for the rest of the movie."

"One word: Goosebumps," Ben Mendelsohn gushes.

Sure the video is short, and we can't really get enough of Vader, but it's cool to see Spencer Wilding suit up as the iconic Sith Lord and rewatch the key scenes that Vader was in. Remember that tacky pun he made while threatening Mendelsohn's Orson Krennic? "Be careful not to choke on your aspirations director." Or that epic end scene where Vader cuts down Rebel soldiers left and right in a dark hallway?

We'll all get to see it again when Rogue One gets its Digital HD release on March 24 and its Blu-Ray and DVD release on April 9.
