Daredevil Season One Showrunner Wants A Moon Knight Show

Ever since Marvel brought Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist to Netflix, fans have been hoping to see another street hero join their ranks; Moon Knight. While not as popular as The Punisher or even Daredevil, Marvel's crazier version of Batman has had a solid following throughout the years and is more than deserving of a Netflix show.

It turns out that Steven DeKnight, the showrunner of Daredevil season one and the director of Pacific Rim: Uprising, wants to give Moon Knight that spotlight.

During an interview with IGN, DeKnight revealed that he was a fan of Marc Spector and would love to make a Moon Knight show. He also wanted to work on The Punisher and Iron Fist but that wasn't meant to be, as DeKnight is no longer a part of the Netflix MCU, at least for now.

"There are so many characters that I love in the Marvel universe. Really, for me, it would be about schedule. My schedule these days, as you imagine, is a little tight. God, you know, when I signed onto Daredevil, I expressed an interest in Iron Fist and the Punisher, which I both loved. I'd love to see Moon Knight get a little bit of love. Great, great character."

There are a lot of great Moon Knight comics to base a show on. The more recent runs from Jeff Lemire or Warren Ellis would be ideal since they explore the character's psyche and take him to a number of visually stunning locations.

Most of Marvel's street heroes are on Netflix and their adventures can be streamed there, the most updated one recently being Jessica Jones.
