Daniel Radcliffe Open To Returning in Harry Potter and The Cursed Child

Though Daniel Radcliffe has long since shed off his Harry Potter skin, the flexible Imperium star remains open to returning to the wonderful wizarding world of the Harry Potter franchise if given the chance. Well, just a little.

According to a report by Telegraph, Radcliffe just might return as The Boy Who Lived if ever Hollywood would try and make a film adaptation of the successful Harry Potter stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling.

"Oh I don't know. I'm not sure. That's a long way off, isn't it? Harry's a bit older. I really don't know, I think that's all highly theoretical talk. If it was to become more than theoretical I would, of course, think about it."

Radcliff also admits to not seeing the play, explaining that "I just feel it would not be a relaxing evening at the theatre.I assume every night there are 1,000 Harry Potter fans in the audience."

While the Harry Potter star's reluctance to commit and aggressively push for a return to a cinematic adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child may deflate some fans, it seems understandable how Radcliffe is keeping a little distance from the franchise. After all an actor of his caliber would want to take on more challenging roles like the one he played in 2016's Imperium, or indie film Swiss Army Man.
