Cyberpunk 2077 Might Come Out On Next Generation Consoles

After the success of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it's easy to see why fans are excited about CD Projekt Red's upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077. The company previously promised that the game would be even more ambitious than Witcher 3, which is saying a lot considering how big that RPG was.

In fact, the game might be so big that it will come out on next-generation consoles. That's right, CD Projekt Red might already be thinking about the PS5 and the next Xbox.

During the Pareto Securities Gaming Seminar 2018 event, Cyberpunk 2077 was being shown off. When slides of the game were shown, it was stated that the RPG would have "true-to-life" visuals that are being built for "current and next-generation technology." This is what got fans buzzing since the company may have hinted at what could come after the PS5 and whatever the new Xbox is called.

It's actually pretty normal to port games from an older system to a newer one. The PS4 and Xbox One is currently home to remasters like Grand Theft Auto V, Saints Row IV, and Skyrim. With all this in mind, a simultaneous release on PS4 and PS5 wouldn't be the hardest thing to believe.

No release date for Cyberpunk 2077 has been revealed.
