CD Projekt Red, the developers of The Witcher series and the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077, is doing their best to make sure their upcoming game will deliver the best possible experience.

During an interview with IGN, Mike Pondsmith, the creator of the Cyberpunk 2020 pen-and-paper role-playing game that 2077 is based on, talked about how the original tabletop game was created, and that CD Projekt Red is only including content that's "tangibly" considered reality even though it's considered a futuristic science fiction game.

They even went talked to an actual neurosurgeon to understand cybernetic implementations, so they can give a high level of realism to the game.

"What I love about the PnP is the reality of it. The fact that we didn't just pull the ideas, the concepts, and the technology out of nowhere," Pondsmith explained. "We built them on things that we could actually tangibly back in reality. For example, we did cyberware. We sat down with a guy who's a neurosurgeon, and we said ‘how do we make this stuff work? How do we implant it? What's the surgical procedure? What can we get away with?"

I'm glad that the developers are doing their best to give us an awesome experience in Cyberpunk 2077. This is just one of the many reasons why the game will be phenomenal.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. No release date has been announced yet.
