Cop Mistook A Late-Night Pokemon Go Meetup For A Drug Deal

One late night-search for Pokemon turned into trouble with local law enforcement.

Redditor SlothOfDoom decided to open his Pokemon Go and take a late-night walk to a park to stop by some Pokestops in a nearby park, but he ended up running into two men he deemed "sketchy" at first, but he found out that they were fellow Pokemon trailers who tipped him off about where to find Onyx. They convinced SlothOfDoom to join the red team so they could take contol of the neighborhood.

But apparently their interaction mad ethem seem suspicious to a cop who showed up. The Redditor explained how it went:

The game has been linked to robbery lately, so I'm not surprised that cops would be somewhat involved, especially late at night.
