Clueless Gamer Spotlights Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled

The year 2017 saw the successful release of the remastered version of the Crash Bandicoot trilogy, and later this month will see another Crash game hit shelves—Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. Just in, Conan O’Brien’s Clueless Gamer has released a video of him covering the game, and he’s brought along Billy Eichner from Billy on the Street.

Check it out:

Admittedly, I’m kind of bummed we don’t get to see much of the game as the video spends a good chunk of the team trying to get the HDMI to work. Based on what we do see though, the new tracks look amazingly updated, and you can also customize characters apart from their original appearances.

I would have loved to have Conan and Billy play more than just two races and critique the game some more, but I guess I can settle with these little one-liners here and there. Billy’s “Wait for me, I’m gay!” line is an absolute gem.

As an extra bonus for the segment, the team has also brought the top half of the Crash mascot that was all over the 90s. Sure games have things like cinematic trailers now, but those commercials were so wacky and silly, Crash was a meme before memes were a thing.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled becomes available for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PS4 on June 21.
