Chris Miller Tweets A Mysterious Star Wars Quote After Getting Chopped Off Han Solo

Last week was definitely a whirlwind of mess for the Star Wars community, especially for Han Solo directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord who were both fired off the Star Wars spinoff after Lucasfilm decided that their "creative differences" were just too much to handle.

Now, a few days after the studio's settled down with director Ron Howard as its replacement for the project, Miller comes out on Twitter with an intriguing Star Wars quote. His first mention of the whole affair on social media, Miller posted on Twitter a short and mysterious message that hold various meanings in Star Wars lore.

Fans may remember the line from Harrison's Han Solo in A New Hope where the smuggler speaks the line's "situation normal" while trying to go undercover as a Stormtrooper. The phrase could also refer to how Miller and Lord feel right now, or how the Han Solo production is turning out now that the studio has Howard to direct it. Or it could be half of the slang term "snafu" or "situation normal: all fucked up" which indicates confusion or chaos.

Whatever it is, it isn't surprising to find Miller coming off a little bit upset about being thrown out of the project – Han Solo had been deep into production before Lucasfilm decided to fire Lord and Miller. We'll probably have to wait for more info from Lord and Miller on their side of the story while Han Solo hopefully settles down and continues principal photography.

Han Solo is set to release on May 25, 2018.
