Chris Hemsworth Was Initially Worried About Thor Entering Avengers: Infinity War

After experiencing a more relaxed Thor in Thor: Ragnarok, Chris Hemsworth admits feeling a bit nervous entering Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: 4.

Hemsworth just recently sat down with Australia's Daily Telegraph to talk about the first installment in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie, and during the interview, Hemsworth admitted that he was a bit apprehensive about entering into Infinity War.

According to the Marvel star, he was really protective of what he'd made with Ragnarok director Taika Waititi.

"I came into this and called [Infinity War directors] Joe and Anthony [Russo] and said, 'Look, don't write me the old Thor, we've got a new Thor now'," Hemsworth said.

The Russo brothers first told him that they were going to reinvent Thor again for Infinity War, but he wasn't too happy about it.

"I was like, 'No, no, no', and I was really protective of what I'd created with [Ragnarok director] Taika [Waititi]," the actor went on. "They then said, 'No, this is a whole different thing – Thor's never faced something like this, never been a part of this large ensemble'.

Guess we're going to get to see the same relaxed Thor in Infinity War, only this time in a massively stressful situation. It's especially exciting to think about Thor teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and we can't wait to see what kind of banter the Asgardian God of Thunder will have with Rocket Racoon and the others.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
