Another Avenger has finished up filming for the unnamed Avengers 4. Chris Hemsworth joins Elizabeth Olsen, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner as actors who have finished up work on the most anticipated MCU films. Some might speculate that these actors being finished with the film might be giving clues about the fate of their characters but it's too early to tell.
Steven Waitrub went to Twitter with the news, claiming that Hemsworth told him he finished up filming his scenes as Thor during a discussion about the actor's upcoming film 12 Strong. Not many details were revealed of course, though it does have fans wondering about the character's fate in the upcoming films.
Thor just went through hell, and Hela, in Thor: Ragnarok. He lost his father and Asgard, though he did save his people. His relationship with Loki has also gotten better, though that might not last if the first Infinity War trailer is any indication. At the least, he will have the company of Star-Lord and the other Guardians of the Galaxy, which should make for some fun scenes.
Will Thor survive Avengers: Infinity War or the fourth Avengers film? Fans will find out on May 4, 2018, and May 3, 2019.
