Chris Hemsworth Felt Like The Trailer For Infinity War Didn’t Give Away Too Much Either

There might have been a lot of excitement when Marvel released the very first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War last year, but a lot of fans were disappointed when they found that the preview showed very little of the first installment in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie.

Chris Hemsworth shares the same sentiment, telling fans in an interview with IGN that he felt like the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War doesn't really give that much information away.

The Marvel star was attending a press junket for his upcoming film 12 Strong when he was asked about what he felt when he saw the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer.

"It doesn't give much away, for sure, because I remember watching it going, ‘Aw, it doesn't tell people enough.' And then Joe [Russo] was like, you don't need to tell them anything, they want anything… Like, ‘Does it explain the story?' It's like, ‘It doesn't need to.'"

Hemsworth's right – a lot of comic book readers already know the overarching narrative of Infinity War. The main question though is what The Russo Brothers are planning to tweak and how they plan to arrange the story in their two-part Avengers movie.

There's also the question of who's going to make it out alive after Infinity War and Avengers 4.

Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas on May 4, 2018, while its sequel, Avengers 4, premieres on May 3, 2019.
