Chris Evans Will Miss Playing Captain America

Chris Evans has all but confirmed that he will be retiring the mantle as Captain America after Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel. Evans has been portraying the character since Captain America: The First Avenger and helped turn the cheesy superhero into a Marvel icon. The actor hasn't taken the role for granted either, as Evans has discussed what he will miss as Steve Rogers.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Evans said he would miss pretty much all of the things associated with Captain America. In fact, it seems like he will miss everything about the MCU, including all of the great films he was a part of.

"[I'll miss] everything [about Captain America]. I mean, it's not just the character, it's the people -- the experience, such good movies, such wonderful memories. I'll miss a lot."

The Captain America films are in the top tier of MCU movies, particularly the latter two sequels. Winter Soldier helped add political intrigue to the MCU, inspiring films like Black Panther. Civil War was a great mix of politics and action, particularly with the ridiculously fun airport scene.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on April 27.
