Chinese Poster for Solo: A Star Wars Story Puts Everyone in the Falcon

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out later this month, and Lucasfilm is releasing all kinds of marketing material online. The Chinese poster for has come out on Reddit, and it puts all the main players in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.

I'll admit, it's not the best poster. It looks like everyone is badly photoshopped in, and I'm pretty sure no one can fit like that in the Falcon. I do admit, though, Han looks pretty badass the way he's seated; Lando looks pretty smug too.

After Star Wars: The Last Jedi technically flopped in China, Lucasfilm had opted to change the name for this film to steer it away the Star Wars brand. Instead of Solo: A Star Wars Story, this film will be coming out in China as Ranger Solo.

With the last three Star Wars films to come out having female protagonists, this will be the first Star Wars movie to release since Revenge of the Sith to have a man in the spotlight. There have been people in the fanbase complaining about Disney pushing their ‘SJW' agenda, but they should really calm down. The first six films barely had any women characters at all; can you even recall Leia or Padme speaking to another woman in a movie?

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out May 25.
