I really love how they make use of the "Spider-Sense" motif in this one, and it's nice to see just Spider-Man and the Vulture being the focus. Though I love RDJ and his Tony Stark, some people are thinking that the posters are sometimes giving more attention to him than actual star of the film Tom Holland.
Just for comparison, here are the posters that have been bashed by the fans:
Though I do like what the IMAX poster was going for, I really think Spider-Man doing the "peace" sign looked a bit tacky. I really like how high-school the poster feels At least it's more imaginative than the first official poster that we got.
Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.
Spider-Man: Homecoming comes out July 7.
