Guardians of the Galaxy fans just have to love how active director James Gunn can be online. The director just loves sharing different tidbits about his life and his films on social media, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is no exception.
Posting on Instagram, Gunn shared a new behind-the-scenes look at the successful Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, a picture that features Sylvester Stallone's cosmic superhero Starhawk and Michael Rosenbaum's crystalline Pluvian hero, Martinex. The photo which shows Gunn posing together with Starhawk and Martinex shows the two heroes right before CGI on Contraxia.

Of course, the BTS photo doesn't reveal much about the film. There's no new angle, no hidden secret. What it does offer though is an inside look at the CGI process of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the motion capture Gunn played around with to bring Martinex to life. Given that the old Ravagers didn't appear much in the film, fans are hoping that Gunn gives the group a larger role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
For now, Gunn is busy supervising his ragtag team of space misfits as they assist the Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War.
