Check Out Rogue One Darth Vader Scene Mashed Up With New Hope Opening

The epic Rogue One Darth Vader scene has  managed to make its way online before the Star Wars spinoff’s sees its digital release this week.

Though the recently released video of the Vader End Scene has been pulled out of YouTube, a couple of new clips have made their way to Vimeo thanks to Barre Fong. The Vader Scene is featured as a mash-up between Rogue One  and the original Star Wars: A New Hope.

Two versions of the mash-up have been posted, one without much alteration to the sound and one with a modified music mix and an added sound effect.

While some fans would probably want the Rogue One Darth Vader ending posted on its own, it makes sense that Fong would try to mix the scene with a few clips from A New Hope. After all, the spin-off is a prequel to the very first Star Wars film and cuts off directly to where we see Vader catching up to Carrie Fisher’s Leia. Though the video would have been more dramatic had Fong started the clip when the rebel soldiers finished downloading the Death Star plans, the Vimeo user has pretty decent editing skills and the video is sure fun to watch. Besides, fans probably jumped back to watch New Hope right after they saw  Rogue One, so Fong is saving us the effort.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’s Digital HD release arrives on March 24, 2017.
