Check Out New Photos for Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action as Warner Bros. Prepares for New Franchise Exhibition

Warner Bros. has live-action film adaptation of the popular shonen anime Fullmetal Alchemist coming fans way, and it looks like the studios have started this year's marketing campaign by releasing the first few photos of the highly anticipated live-action movie.

After releasing the very first trailer for the Fullmetal Alchemist movie back in November last year, Warner Bros.has decided to roll out two new photos to give fans a taste of what's to come in the new film.

In the first picture we get to see Ryosuke Yamada's rendition of the brassy alchemist Edward Elric arriving on a train platform with his brother, Al. It's a scene reminiscent of the original anime series where Edward and Al visit Central City to research on the Philosopher's Stone and fans might like the dark, industrial look of the picture.

The second photo is a screencap from the trailer where Edward faces off with an iron monster generated from a transmutation circle.

But that's not all. The new photo update on the official Fullmetal Alchemist movie website also reveals (via that Warner Bros. will be organizing an exhibit for the franchise, and it looks like fans can expect to see more props and costumes from the upcoming film. Who knows, the studio might decide to release another trailer at the event as well.

Fullmetal Alchemist is slated for release on the big screen in Winter 2017 in Japan.
