Charlie Cox Says His Daredevil Will Fit in The Larger Marvel Cinematic Universe

With the second season of Marvel's Daredevil coming to Netflix this week, more fans have been wondering if we'll ever see the characters of the Marvel TV series join the movies of Marvel Studios. While some fans think that they should be separate, Charlie Cox believes that his character would fit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Some people have said that they wonder about, based on the tone the show, how Matt would fit in with the Avengers," Cox told Comicbook.com. He went on to talk about what his character was like in the comic books. "I was reading Civil War the other day, and Matt Murdock... is kind of an ass. He's in the back, standing around grumpy a lot of the time, and every now and again, he just says ‘Well, we're not doing that' or something to that effect, and I'm like, ‘That's the character, we're fine.' So tonally, with Matt I think we're right on point and he'd be a perfect fit in the larger MCU."

And when asked who he thinks Daredevil would have a great on-screen relationship with in the movies, he said, "Black Widow."

Daredevil Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on March 18. You can watch teaser focusing on The Punisher here.
