Charlie Cox On The Possibility Of Daredevil Appearing in A Marvel Film

A Marvel TV and Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover is something fans have been wishing for quite a while now. With the highly anticipated Captain America: Civil War featuring a bevy of major superheroes in the Marvel Universe, it would make sense if producers actually decided to do a crossover now and introduce Marvel TV superheroes in the upcoming film.

However, it appears that isn't the case, especially with Netflix's Daredevil.

According to CNET, during a Netflix event in Paris, Daredevil lead actor Charlie Cox was asked about the possibility of Matt Murdock joining other Marvel superheroes on the big screen.

The site quoted the 33-year-old Brit actor as saying:

There was no conversation about joining any of the movies.

Early last month, Marvel producer Nate Moore teased the possibility of a Marvel TV and MCU crossover. Maybe that could still be possible, but with Cox's recent statement, it seems that we won't be seeing that possibility anytime soon.

While there seems to be no chance of the crossover happening in the near future, Cox did say he's interested in joining Civil War: "Who wouldn't want to be in the highest-grossing film of all time?"

Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter also mentioned in February how she would love to team up with Iron Man if there is to be a crossover.

It would be awesome to see The Defenders teaming up with either Captain America or Iron Man in Civil War. That seems impossible at this point, but hopefully in the long run, Marvel Studios will listen to fans' wishes and bring them together on the big screen.
