While it doesn't have a proper release date, fans are still pretty pumped for Cyberpunk 2077. The game is coming from CD Projekt Red, after all, the same people who made The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, so everyone can see why there is so much buzz surrounding this RPG. However, CD Projekt Red is also planning some other AAA game coming out and will be out by 2021, which is interesting, to say the least.
CD Projekt Red made this statement awhile ago but most fans had assumed that they dropped this since we haven't heard much about it, due to all the buzz around Cyberpunk 2077. However, someone from ResetEra has confirmed that they are still working on another game that will be out by 2021, while Cyberpunk comes out before this game.
This means that the RPG could be coming out this year or in 2020, which would be fantastic. It will be interesting to see if the game does come out in 2019 and a platform like E3 would be a good place to do that. We'll have to wait and see, but a new game coming from the company is great news for everyone.
And no, I don't think that it will be Witcher 4. Maybe it's something in that universe but not a direct sequel.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
