In light of their unexpected and heartbreaking deaths, HBO has decided to release Hollywood icons Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds’ upcoming documentary, Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, earlier than initially intended. Though the network had originally planned to air the documentary on cable in March, the deaths of both mother and daughter has pushed HBO to air the video this weekend, January 7.

To give Fisher and Reynold’s fans a taste of the waterworks that they’ll be having on the night of Bright Lights’s release, the network has just issued a new trailer for the documentary film. Running around two minutes, the trailer shows just how close Debbie and Carrie were to each other, living next to each other as neighbors and helping each other attend events.
