Marvel has just released a new trailer and synopsis for Secret Empire, a comic event pitting Captain America against all the other heroes in the Marvel heroes as the comic studio draws closer to revealing the shocking history of Steve Rogers.
Last year, Marvel revealed that Captain America as actually working for Hydra in secret. Now, Secret Empire will give fans the real reason why Cap has been betraying the Avengers through this new story that Nick Spencer has been working on for quite a long, long time.

Spencer's been working on the idea ever sense his work on Sam Wilson: Captain America and Avengers: Standoff! and in the video we get to see the comic writer and Marvel SVP Tom Breevor talk about their work on Secret Empire. The synopsis for the comic event reads:
"The Marvel Universe is under siege from within. Due to the manipulations of the Red Skull, Captain America–secretly a true believer in the cause of Hydra–is finally set to enact his master plan. Yet as the dominos begin to fall, there are those who would rise to meet the challenge. Hydra's ascension stands as a rallying cry, and Avengers, Champions, Guardians, Defenders, X-Men, Spider-Man and more must put aside their differences and come together as one: The first and last line of defense against Hydra!"
It sounds like Marvel has an exciting new event for fans, and no one can wait for Secret Empire. Hopefully there'll be some secret twist to redeem Captain America in the upcoming comic event.
