Last week, it was reported that recent Oscar winner Brie Larson in talks to play Captain Marvel in Marvel Studios' first female-led film. And it looks like he's an excellent actress to play Carol Danvers, and an artist even imagined what she'd look like with the iconic costume. Captain America himself, Chris Evans, shared what he thought about Larson as Captain Marvel. During his appearance at Wizard World Philadelphia, Evans said:
"I just heard about that! I really hope that happens. I love Brie Larson. We did a movie together back in '09, we did Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I cannot say enough about Brie Larson. I think she is phenomenal, and I really hope that happens."

As for Larson, this video from 2015 shows Larson being interviewed by MTV, and told her that she's the fans' choice to play Captain Marvel, but it seems that Larson confused the character with either DC's Captain Marvel or Marvel's Captain America instead of Marvel's Captain Marvel. This confirms that Larson didn't know who Captain Marvel was, but with her incredible talent, I'm sure she can pull off the character.
Captain Marvel will make her debut in Aveners: Infinity War, and her solo film will hit theaters on July 6, 2016.
