Marvel star Chris Evans is trying to take on former KKK head David Duke on social media after the former Republican Louisana state representative and Holocaust denier accused the Captain America actor of hating "women of his people."

Earlier this week Duke took to social media posting pictures of Evans with women of color asking why the Captain America star hated white women so much.

Responding to the Tweet on Valentnes Day, Evans shot out that he has no hate for women of any color, saying that all he does is love.

"Try it. It's stronger than hate. It unites us. I promise it's in you under the anger and fear," Evans writes on Twitter.

Last week Duke and Evans were also busy battling it out on Twitter after the Hollywood celebrity wrote that "If David Duke....DAVID!...DUKE!... thinks you're right, then you are unequivocally wrong."

Duke then went on to call Evans "a dumb actor" for opposing the Zionist wars.

While Captain America may only be a fictional character, it seems like Evans is living up to the role in a different way by defending America from bigotry and racial discrimination online.

Evans returns to the big screen as Captain America in Avengers: Infinity Wars which premieres on May 4, 2018.
