Bryan Cranston, star of the hit television show Breaking Bad, revealed that he wants to play Marvel's supervillain Mister Sinister.

Cranston, who won an Emmy in 2014 for his role as the anti-hero Walter White, made the announcement at New York Comic Con this past weekend.

IGN ranks Sinister as the 29th top comic book villain in history. Sinister is a genetically altered superhuman who believes that only the strong deserve to live, while the weak should be cast away.

The character appears in the Marvel Universe as an X-Men villain in the comic books. The rights to the villain are likely fully owned by Fox, who currently controls the film rights to all mutants from X-Men, which means we probably won't see him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe anytime soon.

Last week, Cranston revealed that he wanted to play as a major marvel villain, but said he would rather have a character made up for him from scratch. You can read more here.
