Bloodborne was one of the best games of 2015 and is an essential buy for anyone who has a PS4. Introducing a more combat-oriented version of the Dark Souls and setting it in the Victorian era was a stroke of genius. Thanks to Games Radar, fans will be happy to know that the game's world will be fleshed out more this February via new comics that will be published by Titan Comics.

What's really interesting is the writer they got to write the series: Ales Kot.

For those unfamiliar with his work, Kot is one of the comic book industry's best talents. Most of his best work comes from Image Comics, with titles like Zero, Wolf, and Material garnering plenty of acclaim from fans and critics alike. Kot also had a decent run with Marvel, with his work on Secret Avengers garnering plenty of praise.

The writer has admitted to being a fan of the game, claiming that he is obsessed with the lore and mythology that surrounds Bloodborne. It will be interesting to see how his writing style meshes with this series. As a fan of his work, this writer cannot wait to see these comics.

Bloodborne #1 will hit comic shelves in February 2018. Titan is currently publishing comic tie-ins to The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. We will also see a comic based on Assassin's Creed: Origins this January.
