Calling the Nintendo Switch a hot console is an understatement, as the system managed to break all expectations and sell like pancakes last year, assuming pancakes can provide the perfect mix of portable and console gaming. Due to its popularity, a number of ports have hit the system, from indie titles like Enterthe Gungeon to mainstream giants like Skyrim and LA Noire.
And it looks like Diablo III is next if Blizzard's recent tease means anything.
On Twitter, the company cheekily teased a port of the popular action RPG by tweeting out a video of the game's logo as a lamp. How does this tease a Switch port? They repeatedly flip the switch below the lamp.
It's not the most creative way to hype up a port of the game but you have to give them points for effort. The game is actually pitch-perfect for the console since Diablo's action RPG gameplay can be satisfying for handheld and console gaming. Plus, the Switch has two controllers right off the gate, meaning instant couch co-op.
Diablo III is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360. Expect more news on the Switch port soon.
