The wait is finally over! Though a solid hero in her own right, Orisa was not the character that everyone was waiting for back when she was first announced. A lot of players were eagerly awaiting the arrival of Doomfist, and now Blizzard has officially given us our first look of the character!
The video also comes with a developer update which covers more on Doomfist's backstory. Apparently, Doomfist is one of the leaders of Talon who was originally put behind bars by Winston. He has this whole philosophy about making humans stronger through conflict—which is basically the opposite of Overwatch's mission to bring peace to the whole world.
As for his playability, Doomfist will be part of the offensive line-up of heroes, and he's considered to be a solid flanker. For his primary weapon, he'll have a sort of shotgun mechanic on each of gauntlet's knuckles, and he'll also have a rocket punch ability which sounds a lot like Reinhardt's charge.
Doomfist also has the ability to uppercut opponents into the air, and his ultimate Meteor Strike makes him target a specific spot on the ground and unleash a powerful blow that will damage and knock opponents down.

Doomfist is currently available on the Pubic Test Region, and we'll just have to wait a bit more before he goes live in the actual game.
