Though the production may have been in trouble at first, Deadpool 2 is now sailing smoothly, and we've been getting pictures from the set every now and again. Ryan Reynolds shares this new image of him and actress Leslie Uggams who will be reprising her role as Wade's roommate Blind Al.
What I'm curious about is, if Wade and Vanessa got back together by the end of the first Deadpool movie, what happened to Blind Al? Did Wade just leave her be? Or did Vanessa move in with them? Either way, I'm happy to be seeing more of Al. The character may act a bit motherly to Wade, but she still has a foul mouth, and I love the exchange between both roommates.
Besides Al, Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) is also set to return, and Weasel (T.J. Miller) is expected to have a bigger role this time around. Even the taxi driver Dopinder is going to get more screen time.
We don't know much about the plot for Deadpool 2, but we do know that the movie will be introducing some fan-favorite X-Men characters like Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz). Let's hope the movie lives up to the hype.
Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch (John Wick) and is set for a release on June 1, 2018.
