It's looks like 2017 will be a great year for Cyberpunk enthusiasts. We're getting the live-action Ghost in the Shell movie, and more interestingly, the sequel to Ridley Scott's 1982 sci-fi film: Blade Runner 2049. EW released the first teaser for it, giving us a first look at Ryan Gosling's Officer K, who's revealed to be a "blade runner" just like Harrison Ford's Rick Deckard in the first film. Of course, Ford reprises his role in this one, but the trailer reveals that he's no longer a blade runner in this one. Apparently, "things were simpler back then."  Check out the teaser:

The teaser doesn't reveal much about what's actually going on, but Alcon Entertainment released the synopsis for the film:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 also stars Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks, and will hit theaters on Oct. 6, 2017.
