Black Widow Will Change How We Watch Endgame and Infinity War Says Kevin Feige

Ever since Marvel released the first Black Widow trailer, fans have been split on liking how it looks and thinking about how it would have been better if the film were released before all the big events. While she wasn't too important in Avengers: Infinity War, Natasha's role in Avengers: Endgame was a big one, taking charge of SHIELD while half the world was wiped out and then sacrificing her life for the Soul Stone.

Apparently, the choices she made in these movies will be amplified as Kevin Feige has told IGN that the Black Widow movie will change how we see Natasha in both Infinity War and Endgame. We already know that she'll rediscover the meaning of family and all that sappy stuff but how this film will change our perception of the character is interesting, to say the least.

"We had this thought of exploring a little bit of her past that we hadn't seen before and how that impacts the adventure she had between Civil War and Infinity War. And in fact, there are things that she does in Infinity War and Endgame that you'll see in a new light once you see the Black Widow."

If there's a major flaw with this prequel, it's that we already know that Natasha is going to live through this so she can die in Endgame. That being said, we don't know the fates of Yelena Belova or The Red Guardian so seeing if they live through this or even make their way into a post-Black Widow Marvel movie is just too interesting to pass up.

Black Widow comes out on May 1, 2020.
